Content: Anu, a single mother in her forties working at a Tallinn factory, is tasked with preparing the company sauna in a remote village ahead of a visit from foreign guests. The job takes her to the home of Aita, her ex-husband's elderly aunt, who welcomes her warmly - only to die that same night. Anu suddenly finds herself managing funeral arrangements as well as her original duties, all while the frozen ground makes burial impossible. Behind its plain, matter-of-fact premise, the film unfolds into a quietly humanist portrait of endurance, caregiving, and the burdens placed on women, set against the backdrop of a rural way of life on the verge of disappearing.
