The exhibition "Celebration" was opened today in the Exhibition Pavilion of the National Archives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia in the framework of “Kolga Tbilisi Photo”.

Visitors will get acquainted and recall the Soviet holidays, celebrated in the capital and other cities of Georgia. One of the outstanding directions of the Communist government was to arrange pompous demonstrations and parades. Military, cultural, industrial, sport and other accomplishments of the Soviet Union were presented there. The events were well organized in terms of installations and financially as well.

The exhibition presents photo and film chronicle, reflecting the demonstrations and parades held in 1960s and 1980s.
