The book "Greeks in Georgia," published by the National Archives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, about the life and activities of ethnic Greeks in Georgia in the second half of the 19th century and early 20th century, was presented to the public in the exhibition pavilion of the National Archives.

The publication, authored by Nino Badashvili, an employee of the scientific department of the National Archives, includes photographs, written documents, maps, and architectural drawings. It describes the life of Greeks in Georgia during Tsarist Russia; the activities of Greek entrepreneurs in Georgia; and diplomatic relations between the Republic of Georgia and the Kingdom of Greece in 1918-1921.

General Director of the National Archives, Teona Iashvili opened the event.. Among the invited guests were the Ambassador of Greece to Georgia, Maria Theodorou; Deputy Director of the Institute of Classical Philology, Byzantine Studies; and Neo-Greek Studies; Irine Darchia; a byzantinologist, Neo-Greek; Tamar Meskhi, and others. The documents presented in the book, most of which were published for the first time, are preserved in the National Archives of Georgia.

The publication is an important source for scholars studying ethnic minorities in Georgia in general, as well as for neo-Greeks and other interested parties.
