The Representatives of the European Association of History Educators visited the National Archives of Georgia

The representatives of the European Association of History Educators (EUROCLIO) visited the National Archives of Georgia by the initiative of the Georgian Association of History Educators.

General Director of the National Archives of Georgia, Teona Iashvili and the Project Manager of the European Association of History Educators, Steven Stegers discussed the plans of the future cooperation.

The parties discussed the possibility of publishing materials about the First World War that is preserved at the National Archives of Georgia. These materials will be published on the special website - http://historiana.eu/ where the archive materials about the World War I from different organizations of the various countries will be presented.

The visitors inspected the photo, video and written materials about the World War I, stored at the depositories of the National Archives of Georgia. In the visitor's opinion these documents are the most important source for studying the history of the World War I.
