A fire broke out in a distinct building located on the territory of the National Archives of Georgia. It was a nitrate-based tape vault. The Audio-Visual and Film Archive of the National Archives preserves the copies of all tapes. The archives' other buildings were unaffected. At the moment, the fire is localized. The fire did not cause any injuries.
