The pavilion of the National Archive will be opened with the exhibition "Georgian Resorts"

The exhibition pavilion of the National Archive of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia will open on July 24 with a new exhibition - "Georgian Resorts".

 

The exposition from the photo collection of the National Archives will present various resorts of Georgia taken in 1920-2000, both current and popular, as well as lesser-known; Both seaside and mountain, balneological and more. The photos depict the beautiful nature of our country, the Caucasus Mountains and the unique panoramas of the Black Sea.

 

At the exhibition you will see Gagra, Bichvinta, Lidzava, Gudauta, New Athos, Tkvarcheli, Menji, Kobuleti, Tsikhisdziri, Makhinjauri, Tskaltubo, Abastumani, Borjomi, Tsemi, Java, Sighnaghi, Lagodekhi, Pasanauri, Kestiageri, Mestia, Kestia And sanatoriums, holiday homes, and tourist bases in other settlements.

 

In order to prevent the spread of infection caused by the new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) (COVID-19), restrictions are in place in the exhibition pavilion and the visitor should follow the relevant recommendations. Detailed information is available at the link: https://archive.gov.ge/ge/pavilioni.

 

The exhibition in the exhibition pavilion will last until September. The modern exhibition space of the National Archives opened in 2016. Since its opening, the pavilion has hosted up to 60 exhibits and more than 10,000 visitors.
