National Archives Employees Receive Training on New “Personal Data Protection” Law

An informational session was held for employees of the National Archives to introduce the requirements of the new “Personal Data Protection” law.

The session covered key aspects of the new data protection law, including principles of personal data processing, grounds for processing, data subject rights, obligations of those responsible for data processing, data security measures, and more.

Around 120 participants received guidance and recommendations from Avtandil Lepsveridze, a representative of the Personal Data Protection Service, to help them ensure higher standards of personal data protection in their work and adhere to mandatory regulations in this area.
