In the frames of the project "Expeditions of the National Archives" the group of the National Archives of Georgia depicted Gelati Cathedral on the photo and video materials on February, 2.

The project foresees to collect the photo and video materials of the Georgian historical monuments and to enrich the archival fonds with the modern documents. The special group of The National Archives has already taken the photo and video materials of Gremi and Nekresi cathedrals, Vardzia monastery complex and Ujarma Castle.

The unique photo and video materials of the Georgian architectural and historical monuments are preserved at the National Archives of Georgia. Within the project the collected materials will enrich the existing treasure and will be an invaluable source for the interested researchers.
