The description of another 100 manuscripts preserved at the National Archives of the Ministry of Justice are prepared to be published. New descriptions will be added to the second volume of the "Analytical Catalog of Manuscripts".

The National Archives of Georgia preserves one of the richest foundations of Georgian manuscripts, with up to 1000 manuscripts. Their description was published in 1950. More than half a century later, in 2016, the first volume of new manuscript descriptions was published, which included information about 100 manuscripts.

While studying the second piece of manuscripts, the project team described a number of important details. For example, in the new description, it is noted that the # 108 manuscript is accompanied with the amendments of King Vakhtang VI, and the same manuscript extension - # 109 manuscript – is copied by the king himself. The manuscript is a translation of astrological contents, "Thala material".

Repeated description of manuscripts was taken into consideration by international standards. The new format allowed the group working on the project to provide detailed information in the description of the manuscript. At this point the details of the manuscripts of the completed manuscripts were specified, gaps were corrected in the titles, editions of individual texts were established, and the vows were presented in full. Each manuscript and its own bibliography have been added to the individual text within it. Work on searching and dictionary is in progress.

The second volume of manuscripts are chronologically between the 9^th-20th centuries. Among them are: The Gospel of the Alphabet (19^th century, included to the UNESCO International Memory of the World Register); "Atlas" of Vakhushti, as well as "History and Geography" (1745, included to the UNESCO International Memory of the World Register); Teimuraz I. Poems and etc.
