The National Archives of the Ministry of Georgia preserved a new edition for the public. The book “Georgian Manuscripts and Historical Documents” combines manuscripts and historical documents preserved in archival fonds.
The publication includes illustrations and decorations of manuscripts and historical documents of the 9th-19th centuries preserved in the National Archives, special colophons and inscriptions, lists included in the UNESCO World Memory Register, recently discovered palimpsests and other novelties, manuscripts, and seals. It should be noted that the archives contain about 1,000 manuscripts and more than 15,000 historical documents.
The presentation of the new edition was held in the exhibition pavilion. The representatives of scientific circles and other invited guests attended the event.
