Noe Ramishvili's Grandson Visited The National Archives

Noe Ramishvili's granddaughter Michel Ramishvili visited the National Archives today.

The guest got acquainted with the funds preserved in the National Archives, including the materials of the First Republic of Georgia and Noe Ramishvili's personal fund. A special film screening was organized, where Noe Ramishvili's descendant saw the film chronicle of 1918-1921.

The current projects related to the First Republic of Georgia, as well as future plans for cooperation were discussed at the meeting held at the National Archives.

On January 5, Michel Ramishvili, the granddaughter of the First Chairman of the Government of the Democratic Republic of Georgia, Noe Ramishvili, was received by the Minister of Justice, Tea Tsulukiani. The meeting was held at the Ministry of Justice. The meeting was attended by the State Minister of Georgia for Diaspora Issues Gela Dumbadze. Ministers and Michel Ramishvili talked about the process of transferring Leville estate to Georgia, which has been going on for many years and entered a crucial phase in 2015.

Noe Ramishvili - First Chairman of the Government of the Democratic Republic of Georgia, and later Minister of Internal Affairs, Military and Education. He left Georgia after the Soviet occupation and settled in Leville, France. Noe Ramishvili was assassinated in 1930. He is buried in Leville Cemetery.
