The Fifth International Conference of the National Archives of Georgia "Archival Studies, Source Studies - Trends and Challenges" will be held online on September 24-25.

 

The registration phase of those wishing to participate in the event is over. The report at the international conference will be read by more than 160 Georgian and foreign scientists.

 

 The Fifth International Conference is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the National Archives of Georgia and the 300th anniversary of the birth of King Erekle II.

 

The event includes the following scientific directions: archival science; Source science; Antiquities; History / Art, History / Ethnology; Philology (codicology-textology); Intercultural communications; Restoration-conservation; Digital archives and databases; Cultural heritage management; Georgia and the South Caucasus in 1918-1921.

 

The aim of the conference is to gather scientific news, to stimulate close scientific ties between Georgian and foreign scientists, to promote interdisciplinary and intercultural research, to find ways to adapt to the modern requirements of cultural heritage management, to spread news in the field of digital humanities.
