The final of the educational project of the National Archives of Georgia was held today

The final of the educational project of the National Archives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia - "The First Democratic Republic of Georgia" was held today. Students from 43 schools in different regions of Georgia took part in it. The competition took place on the zoom platform, online.

The contestants wrote an essay on the topic - "Why is it important to know the history of the First Republic of Georgia today?" And sent electronically to the Competition Commission. The 10 best papers will be revealed on June 3rd.

The educational project about the First Republic of Georgia was founded in 2015 and “What? Where? When? ”Was held in the format of an intellectual game. To date, more than 4,500 students from about 800 public and private schools have participated. Due to the global pandemic, this year the competition is held in a different format - in the form of an essay competition.
