Teona Iashvili, General Director of the National Archives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, participated in today's General Assembly of the European Division of the International Council on Archives (EURBICA), which covered the 2022–2023 report, future plans, and issues regarding the election of the organization's executive board members.The event was held in the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi, within the framework of events organized by the International Council on Archives.

International Council on Archives (ICA), was founded in 1948. The National Archives of Georgia joined in 1996, and later became a member of the European representative office of this organization (EURBICA).

It is important to remember that the National Archives of Georgia delegation will be attending the International Congress of the International Council on Archives, which will begin in Abu Dhabi on October 10.Seminars, talks, and workshops will be held during the 2023 Congress of the International Council on Archives with the goal of facilitating knowledge, experiences, and methodology exchange among archivists.
