Training Course at the National Archives of Georgia

 

The training course of record keeping and archival affair is taking place in the National Archives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia.

Participants of the training have registered in advance. They have the opportunity to get acquainted with the legal framework necessary for the functioning of the record keeping and archival affair and also can acquire theoretical and practical skills for the abovementioned field.

The training includes 10 academic hours. Specialists of the National Archives of Georgia will introduce the following issues to the training participants: the Organization and its work, tasks, functions and responsibilities of the institution; Timeframe for preserving the documents; nomenclature and its species; formation of files in the institutions; document evaluator examination; requirements for archive facilities and documents storage modes; documents and archival fonds of the institution, etc.

It should be noted that the function of the National Archives consists Organizational-methodical management of archives and preparation of the documents. That's why the National Archives regularly conduct training courses for the staff of the state organizations, as well as for any interested person.
