The creative evening of the People's Artist of Georgia, Zurab Lezhava, dedicated to the 83rd anniversary of his birth, was held today in the exhibition hall of the National Archives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia.

The event was initiated by the National Archives, JSC "Georgian Film" and Kakutsa Cholokashvili All Georgia Chokhos Knights.

Zurab Lezhava was the chairman of the Georgian Artists' Union for many years. He was also actively involved in cinema. He has acted in such famous feature films as: "Arsena", "Giorgi Saakadze", "Keto and Kote", "Mtsvervalta Dampkrobni", "Malakhovis Korgani", "Tsigni Ficisa".

The creative evening featured footage from films starring Zurab Lezhava. As the director of the archive Teona Iashvili noted, the mentioned footage was presented according to the materials preserved in the archive. "I hope the guests will be satisfied tonight. "Similar events will be held in the archive in the future as well," Iashvili said.

The best works of Zurab Lezhava's works were also exhibited in the archive hall, including sketches of "Samanishvilis Dedinacvali".
