The exhibition titled 'Georgia's Independence Day' will open today at the National Archives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia's exhibition pavilion.

Original archival documents from the first Georgian democratic republic's establishment are on display in this exhibition. These documents include acts of independence, sketches of the coat of arms, flag, and standard, minutes from the first meeting of the National Council of Georgia, as well as photographs and written documents concerning our country’s declaration of independence 106 years ago. Additionally, visitors will see materials related to the events of 1924. Alongside the documents preserved in the National Archives, personal and memorial items belonging to Georgia's independence fighters—Kakutsa Cholokashvili, Konstantine Abkhazi, and Bekirbi Kukava—are also on display.

The exhibition was opened by Deputy Minister of Justice Buba Lomuashvili and the General Director of the National Archives, Teona Iashvili.

The exhibition will be open until September 1. Admission is free.
