Searching for the fonds preserved in the National Archives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia is now available through electronic catalog. Presentation of the program was held in the Exhibition Pavilion of the National Archives of Georgia.

The database placed on the website (http://archives.gov.ge/ge/elektronuli-katalogebi) of the National Archives of Georgia contains information on the fonds stored in regional and local archives – structural units of the National Archives of Georgia.

The information about the fonds was available through the National Archives website so far, but the unified database was not integrated into the search engine.

The service allows the user to get acquainted with any kind of documents (management, personal origin, technical, personal composition) of the National Archival fonds created in the process of enterprises or private individuals, preserved in the National Archives of Georgia.

The information uploaded in the electronic catalog is constantly updated. More than 13 thousand archival fonds are registered in it at this time.

The National Archives have started working on the creation of a catalog of fonds, which will make it easier to find information on any kind of materials preserved in the fonds.
