Foreign archivists got acquainted with the history of the return of Georgian treasures from the North Caucasus

The National Archives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia shared the history of the return of Georgian treasures from the North Caucasus to Georgia in the 1920s at an international conference in Krakow.

During the event, members of the National Archives delegation - Deputy Director General Giorgi Sofromadze and Head of the Public and International Relations Department Sophio Jobava - got acquainted with the work of the Krakow Archive, received information from colleagues about their experience in using archival documents, experience in digitization, restoration and informational technologies. At the same time, during the meeting with the foreign colleagues participating in the conference, the representatives of the National Archives of Georgia discussed the issues of strengthening the future cooperation.  

Representatives of archival institutions of European countries are participating in the two-day conference "European Colloquia on Archives". The event is organized by the State Archives of Poland.
