Teona Iashvili, Director of the National Archives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, met with Dariusz Zhizic, Director of the Central State Archives of Lithuania.

At the meeting, the heads of the two countries' archives discussed plans for future cooperation and joint events.

The guest inspected the documents kept in the central archives of the National Archives, the Documents' Restoration Laboratory, and got acquainted with the digitalization process of archival documents, including film material.

The head of the Lithuanian State Archives will also participate in the opening of the exhibition "100 Years of Lithuanian Representation in the Transcaucasia" at the Exhibition Pavilion of the National Archives of Georgia.

The exhibition will be opened at 18:00 on February 25 and continue till March 17. Attendance is free of charge.
