"Leaders of the Georgian Church" - An Exhibition Was Opened At The National Archives

 

The Exhibition Pavilion of the National Archives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia is hosting an exhibition dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the restoration of the autocephaly of the Georgian Orthodox Church.

At the exposition "Leaders of the Georgian Church" the viewer will see the material reflecting the activities of the first patriarchs of the Georgian Church, Catholics and Catholicos-Patriarchs, historical documents, manuscripts, photos and other archival documents preserved in the National Archives; As well as the memorial items of the patriarchs, which are preserved in various private collections.

The exhibits reflect the long and difficult path of autocephaly of the Georgian Church. The Deputy Minister of Justice Buba Lomuashvili inspected the exhibition together with the students of the 24th public school.

The event was attended by representatives of the Georgian Patriarchate, scientific organizations and the diplomatic corps. The exhibition will last until June 22 in the exhibition pavilion of the National Archives. Attendance is free. Curator of the exhibition - Ketevan Asatiani.
