The National Archives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia will host the 4th Tbilisi International Archival Film Festival from October 21 to 24. The festival will feature programs from film institutions representing 11 countries.

Under the theme “Auteur Cinema,” the 2025 festival will showcase films preserved in the collections of the national film archives of Georgia, Bulgaria, Estonia, Moldova, Portugal, Germany, Poland, Hungary, Croatia, Malta, and Belgium.

The festival will open on October 21 at 19:00 at the National Archives Cinema Hall with Otar Iosseliani’s film "April" (1962). The closing event will take place on October 24 at 18:15, featuring the second screening of the Georgian program - Eldar Shengelaia’s film "Mikela" (1965), presented by the Georgian National Film Center.

All films will be screened in their original language with English subtitles.
