Ketevan Asatiani, Head of the Scientific Department of the National Archives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, was awarded the Order of Honor by the President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili.

Ketevan Asatiani was awarded the Order of Honor for her outstanding contribution to the scientific research of the National Archives of Georgia and ensuring their accessibility to the public, promotion of Georgian culture abroad and protection of Georgian cultural heritage.

"Today we commemorate the merits of the people who contributed to the preservation and development of this Georgian identity, Georgian culture. I am very happy to be able to mention the merits of such people who do their job silently and unnoticed, this is how the great core of Georgian culture is created, which has brought us so far, "- said the President of Georgia.
