Students Explore the Work of the National Archives of Georgia

The National Archives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia hosted graduate students from the “History of Georgia” master’s program at the Faculty of Humanities of Tbilisi State University.

At the National Archives, the guests learned about the specific work of the Central  Historical Archive and Archive of Audio-Visual and Film Documents, observed the processes of documents’ restoration and the digitization of audio-visual records, and visited the archival depositories. The students gained information about the diverse activities of the National Archives.

The National Archives of Georgia actively collaborates with various higher education institutions, aiming to foster students’ engagement with archival sources and encourage their involvement in research activities.
