The document of the current week of the National Archives is the appeal of Zviad Gamsakhurdia, chairman of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Georgia.

Zviad Gamsakhurdia informs the world society that on 31 March, 1991universal referendum was held in the Republic of Georgia and the population unanimously supported the recognition of the independence of Georgia on the bases of “The Act of Independence of Georgia” of 26 May, 1918.
